TECHCLEAN CASE STUDY

Established in 1983, Techclean is the UK’s leading expert in specialist IT cleaning with regional branches throughout the UK.  
Cleaning Data Rooms, Server Rooms, Communications Rooms and all types of IT equipment, including PC’s, laptops, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, scanners, telephones, EPOS for retailers and ATM’s for banks, it offers nationwide coverage with teams of highly trained, qualified staff operated through a franchise model.
THE BRIEF:
Techclean needed to refresh its brand and ensure that its identity and reputation was being used effectively throughout its franchise network. Flourish PR were asked to review its current brand and collateral and implement recommendations across the company to ensure that it retained and grew its market share in an increasingly competitive market. 

THE SOLUTION:
  • Flourish PR created a new colour palette and logo design and sourced photography to be used to enhance the new brand
  • We ensured the new brand was used effectively by franchisees by creating a portfolio of templates for them to use
  • We ‘reskinned’ the website ensuring it was consistent with the new corporate identity and a strong brand builder for Techclean
  • We undertook regional advertising campaigns, designing the ads to reflect the new identity
  • We undertook a national PR campaign, using national and B2B media to raise the profile of Techclean to its target markets
  • We designed a new newsletter format, sourced content and advised on data management.
THE RESULTS:
  • A modern and consistent brand was created across all franchisee activities
  • Through regional advertising, PR coverage and direct mail, Techclean’s brand awareness was improved
  • In 2016, Techclean was bought by the Bardon Group to add to its multi franchise portfolio alongside companies such as Kall Kwik, whilst retaining its new brand and identity, developed by Flourish PR.
